Establish a permanent task force of faculty, staff and students to establish and monitor sustainability goals.
Maintain constant contact with students through SGA, the Environmental Coalition, Peace and Justice, the Student Congregation and other interested student groups. Collaborate with students and student organizations in planning and implementing educational and operational programs.
Create and maintain a "Black and Gold and Green" website and e-newsletter.
Publish plans and results in the Manitou Messenger and on the website.
Report on "The State of the Campus Environment" each year in a public presentation on Earth Day. Maintain benchmarks of campus resource flows, and publish them regularly.
Find ways to make regular presentations to the Northfield community.
Work to establish a set of measures that could be used by colleges and universities nationwide.
Make presentations at regional and national meetings of professional organizations, and at conferences like "Greening the Campus."
Submit information to National Wildlife Federation's Campus Ecology project.
Feature environmental initiatives in Admissions recruiting materials.
