Section 4 - Faculty Personnel Policies and Procedures

XIV. Benefits

Employee benefits are generally offered to faculty and other exempt non-faculty employees on an identical basis. The benefits offered by the College to faculty include medical insurance, life insurance, retirement plan, and reimbursement accounts for medical and dependent care expenses along with some statutory benefits, such as worker's compensation. An overview of these benefits can be found in the Faculty Handbook . The detailed binding terms and conditions pertaining to these benefits are found in the plan documents and contracts between the College and insurance or other companies.

The Benefits Advisory Committee, which is appointed by the President to make recommendations to the President regarding benefits, includes at least 4 members of the faculty, one of whom is appointed by RPC. See the Faculty Handbook for a description of the Benefits Advisory Committee.
