Placement Exams are offered in French, German, Spanish, Chemistry, Computer Science, and Mathematics. New students should review placement information in their Destination St. Olaf binder to complete all applicable placement processes before arriving on campus for Week One orientation.

Religion 121 and Writing 111 course submission period will open July 25, 2011 at 12:00 noon and close on August 4, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. There has been a delay in opening the course submission process due to a programming issue. As soon as it is available, students will be informed via email.

As part of the St. Olaf general education curriculum, students are required to complete Religion 121 (Biblical Studies) and Writing 111 (First Year Writing) courses during their first year.

You are registering for either Religon 121 OR Writing 111, NOT BOTH COURSES. Students placed in the religion group will take Religon 121 in semester I and wait to take Writing 111 until semester II. Students placed in the writing group will take Writing 111 in semester I and wait to take Religon 121 in semester II.
