Office Computers
IIT maintains a centralized budget for all technology hardware and software. While the budget is centralized, departments and offices select the type of computing platform for their organization, as well as the order in which members will receive new or upgraded equipment. IIT strives to replace approximately one-fifth of the computers each year. Presently, IIT supports the Apple Macintosh and the HP PC. Each department or office is equipped with at least one central networked laser printer.
